tickets gekauft

It is official. We just went to the student travel agency this morning and bought our tickets! I guess that means we're really going...

We are set to fly on September 13th, with only one stop in Copenhagen, which will be nice. It's also nice that we leave at 7pm, so there will be no early-morning, bleary-eyed trips to the airport.

We are set to return on December 22nd, so we'll be just in time to shower everyone with German shortbread cookies and kitschy objects from the Weihnachtsmaerkte!

This is our blog -- the online journal in which we will be keeping a log of our adventures in and around Berlin.
 
We're not quite there yet, but the takeoff date is set for somewhere in mid-September.
 
Til then, we're packing and practicing our German, not to mention enjoying a beautiful Seattle summer. Hope you all are enjoying yours.
